    Good to hear that Vidya!

So, I have read the book for the book club now :

Makes my 56th book for the year! Only 4 more to go!
    56) Bridget Jones Dairy - Helen Fielding

A very funny book, I was a bit sceptical when I started the book, but you see that was because I thought that the book has been hyped too much with a movie being produced, et.al. But after reading it I came to think of it as a feel-good kind of book.! A must read I would say.

Congrats Vidya.... Hope the little one is doing good.
It's good to know that your daughter read many books from mothers womb itself . I wish she will be competing us in next few years in "Book Challenge 20xx" :).

Aahhhhh... I'm back after long time. But with 2 books this time.
    13) The Best Laid Plan - Sidney Sheldon.
Good one. It's a best laid plan by the author till the end and everything changes.... Did I gave any hint here to reveal the suspence ;-). Hope I'm not.
    14) Master of the Game - Sidney Sheldon (Again....)
This novel I felt very lengthy initially. I felt like can I ever finish it.. :). It covered 3 generations. While deleaing with the first generation I felt like I'm not reading a sidney's novel. That was not his style.Explaing the room decorations or the food items. I mean he was sooooo detailed in that phase. Next the 2nd generation. That was little ok but I couldn't get the feel of his style yet. Then comes the 3rd generation with identical twins and could enjoy his style of narrating completely. Trust me I was running after the pages to finish it off. and I'm done.. :)
Hurry..... 2 months left and I can add more.....
    Have a great Diwali.

    Hi All

I just wanted to say what a fabulous thread this is. I have only been a silent visitor so far.. I came in first around Aug and then you have succeeded in waking the sleeping dragon.. I used to be so obsessed with reading in my tweens and teens , the last 10 yrs I havent done much and now thanks to the forum, I got my passion back in full force. I have been looking at all your lists and adding to my own list. From Aug I have read about 80 books at least (big and small). Thanks for all the posts. Reading is so great, I got my DH hooked as well, now thx to u we have one more common hobby. Gayathri thk u.

    regards
    shyamals.
