I have hypothyroid. I generally eat anything that doesn't make me put on weight because people with hypothyroid can gain weight faster. Eating fruits and green veggies and nuts is good because we need more energy and we will feel less tired and stressed out. Exercising is also a must.

In case of Hypothyroid we should not eat raw cabbage, cauliflower, turnip and soya products in any form.
do some yoga exercises, you can visit baba ramdev's site.avoid day sleeping.
can have kamal kakdi(lotus stem, white in colour) and singhada flour.

I did know through my friends that Cabbage is not good for people with Hypo thyroidism but I never knew Soya/Cauliflower and Turnip also throws negative impact. Good God I have been so far enjoying Soya products (in particular the Soya chunks - meal maker). Thanks for the information. Please keep posting on negative food for people having Hypothyroid .

I eat everything including soya, cauli flower, cabbage in moderate quantity.
I try to cook them once in a week so that I don't miss any nutrients.

I eat lots of veggies, fruits and exercise.

Even I heard that eating too much fiber won't help in thyroid medication absorbtion.
So, eating everything in moderation and at proper time is very important.
With thyroid, iron absorbtion in the body becomes very less, so it important to do blood work regularly.
Also, gaining knowledge about health problems is very important and will help you in balancing your food & medication in take.
