    Can we unlock the Apple i Phone 3 G in India which comes with a contract of 1 yr in US? HAs anyone tried it?

    Yes. It is possible. My friends at office has done that. You can contact a mobile store or a service center for that.

    you can get it unlocked in India and even jail break. But choose correct place for that who can do best.

    Agree with what Senorita has said. If ou are opting for a jail break, go to a good centre, else the iPhone will become unusable and it is a headache to get it working again.
