My 2 year old's daily menu goes something like this

    10am - milk upon waking
11.30am -breakfast - cereal with yogurt n bit of butter or pureed banana with cereal n bit of butter, or yogurt-fruit smoothie
2.00pm - lunch - khichdi, paratha with daal or yogurt, rice n daal with veggies, macaroni n cheese with veggies, soup n rice, fish curry with rice or roti, chicken curry with rice or roti etc
4.30pm - milk after waking up from afternoon nap
6.30pm - snack like vermicelli noodles with veggies, veggie soup, cut fruit n cheese, 1/2 sandwich etc
9.00pm dinner - similar as lunch
    11.00pm - milk before sleeping

My aim is to give him same kinds of foods for lunch as dinner as we are eating so that I don't have to cook separately for him. What i do is plan the menu on sundays for the rest of the week based on the fruits and veggies I have purchased that day. I write it down so every day I don't have to figure out what to give him.

Even my son doesn't like veges at all nowadays (2.1 years old)....

    try making vegetable cutlet..

If he likes chapathies, boil the vegetables( i use 1 veg at a time), mash it and mix with the dough when you kneed for chapathy..

    Regards,
    Ansu:)

    Hi,
I usually do mixed dal dosa 4 my son, he's 3 and half yrs old
For 1 cup chana dal, 1/2 cup tour dal, 1/2 cup moong dal, 1/4 rce
soak for 3-4 hrs, grind and make dosa,
You can bring variations like using only moongdal, r combination of 2 dals,
changing propotions and also while grindng can put, coconut, onions curryleaves, Ginger(optional)..........
    Hope this helps
    cheers
    shwetha
