Sharing some snaps shots of our Guava tree.Rooted outside our compound, partly sliding in.[IMG]water only during the Summer.

No season for its flowering.Almost all months.

    And....
The kids, and the tempted adults(reason-its seedless variety) simply pluck the small sized fruits and after munching,,,throw it off.Everyday I gaze at dozens of bitten greens under the shades.Told many times to leave them to grow their full size then they are welcomed to own them.but no use.[IMG]

Dunno how to protect these juveniles from the immature humans.

Waiting to view the fully grown fruit at least this time...[IMG]

Tempting Guavas, hope this time you will post the pictures with big ones . We used to have a very big tree in our old house and my mom used to tie cloth pieces to the Guavas(after 3/4th of growth) to protect them from birds, ofcourse she used to send them to all of our family friends. She used to preapre Guava jam as well .Your pictures made me remember those days

Truly, Saroj your guava tree is laden with fruits, but very sad that they are not allowed to be ripened, only squirrels………… very naughty ……….bite into not fully ripened fruit but as you say, when it is outside compound even people…big or small like to pluck them and make a mess around the area, any way thanks for sharing these beautiful, well taken snaps of your guava tree, really these pictures of fruit trees or flower plants are mood lifters when we see them in full bloom.
    Love
    Shanta

    Dear YK,

The guava tree with loads of fruits is a feast. But to prevent it from outsiders is really a problem. U can just cover each tiny fruit with a plastic cover.

Why dont people allow it to ripe and mature ??
Beautiful guavas yaar Saroj and I just love them too much...
The clicks are so wonderful and I can see the tears in each fruit begging to be allowed to fully grow !!
