    hi,

I used to soak some black currents, dates, dried fig into water overnight and eat it next day.
This kept my haemoglobin levels at comfortable level through out pregnancy.
I also had kishmish whenever possible in the day/night.

Yeah you can have dates, figs and raisin.
If you can get someone to help you, I suggest you to get Draakshaadirasayam from Lalitha Pharmacy near Kapaleeshwar temple. I too had a too low blood count - while the allopathy tablets helped me increase the heamo level only by 0.4 to 0.6, this legiyam which is very tasty, increased my level by 4 in just 20 days.

So please do have it and let me know.

sweetheart, what do u mean by - blood is reduced? do u have low BP? or low Hemoglobin?

for low BP : drink plenty of water and fluids like fresh juices (not the packaged ones.. they are full of sugar)

for low Hb : eat spinach, pomegranates, beetroot, sprouts etc

i m sure ur Doc must have given u iron suppliments
