    Hi

    My garden pic link:
    http://www.indusladies.com/forums/album.php?albumid=2047

Our decison to plant a garden was highly influenced By Food Inc..Its a fruit(veg) of my hubbys day n night labor including removing rocks and gravel manually w/o any help..For seeds we didnt approach any store but dried them from fresh vegetables....So far we have harvested 5 lbs of cherry tomatoes alone which are quiet exp in the market..Chillis are growing great and herbs are good..eggplants we still have to pluck.

Thanks for a chance to display our pride..

Could you believe it? These fleshy green ladies finger plants are grown in a cardboard box. Our doctor neighbour brought the seeds and gave it to us telling that" "You have the passion for gardening and you have the kairasi also. So you plant it." As we had no pot with us and also we used to grow seasonal plants in card board box, we planted it a month back.

    manathakali spinach

I have snapped my vegetables here in my album.

From my childhood my grandma use to take care of plants especially flowering plants so i grew up with interest in growing plants so .

But i don't have enough place to plant all type veggie varieties, as i am residing in a flat ,so i grown up vegetable as much as possible in the terrace in pots ,

Everyday morning when i woke up my first duty is to go to terrace and watch my plants to know the development in each , I spent nearly 1 hour to admire it each and every day,

I remember ladies finger pant was my first veggie , when i got first ladies finger i was just jumping from earth to sky , cant express in words ,I shared my first ladies finger with all my flat members and got good comments .

And two of my flat members started to plant spinach after seeing my garden. This was a good appreciation for me .

And now that good experience leads me to plant more and more

And one thing i want to say i am still not satisfied with what vegetables i am having i am still having huge wish to plant more and more vegetables .

My aim in gardening is to have my own vegetables in my kitchen always,
