    Dear Shobha,
    Its really my pleasure to answer your query. We have excellent medicines for colitis.
    But along with oral medicines you should undergo a 'Panchakarma procedure' called as 'Vasthi Chikitsa'
    Once you have a course of Vasthi u will feel excellent.
    It may not be possible for you to undergo the treatment right now. So until you come to India you take the following oral medicines.

    1. Bilva Avaleham
    1 tsf thrice daily before food

    2. Changeryadi Ghrutam
    15 ml on empty stomach followed by 1 glass warm water

    3. Isabgol powder
    1 tsf twice daily with 50 ml warm water

    If you are really serious abt your health please for god's sake do not take prednisone.

    start the following medicine to increase the chances of conception:

    1. Phala Sarpis
    15 ml on empty stomach followed by warm water

    And the time of IC is very important. First knopw your time of ovulation.

    hello DR jyothi,

    good to know that there is a thread for ayurveda here. i have a question, is there a way to reduce the saliva production. i feel the secretion is more in me, also can u refer a ayurvedic clinic in chennai. thanx in advance.

    Re: Ayurveda consultation - Uterus scars

    Dear Dr. Jyoti,

    Can you pls suggest some ayurvedic remedy for mild/moderate uterus scars. Since i have not been able to concieve after a miscarriage five years ago and most of the reports are normal, the doctor says there could be uterus scars due to which conception is not happining.

    Pls suggest.

    dear doctor,
    thank you for the reply. you had suggested me to take "Shatadhouta Ghrutam" on page no. 12.
    but since i stay out of India, i am not able to get it here. i will get it when i go to India.
    doctor, as requested by me in my above query, could you please suggest me some home remedies for all/some of my problems like for my heat producing body, for my cracks and corns on feat.
    pls tell me,
    -what food should i take on daily basis?
    -pls suggest a daily routine for my body type.
