Job in US for L2 Visa Holder

I'm a malayalee.. bt was in chennai for 8 yrs till i got married in 2008.... did my college and post graduation(MCA) in chennai..

What is your status in EAD application? Mine is still in INITIAL REVIEW.. hehe.. ):drowning

i also applied SSN.Before applying it ,my friends who already got SSN ,EAD said we can get EAD within 3 months.now they are working , they ve searched the job through indeed,dice.com.so dont loose ur hope,All the best.

What is this status "req for evidence"..? Should we need to give our thumb impression.. i applied on june 14th 2010.. What about you?
We have lot of friends here da. .thats reallya blessing.. though many are citizens and green card holders, its a great group to b with.. so time really flies..
But all these enjoyment apart, i really miss working and earning... :bonkMy DH is fine with anything, he feels i should do what i like..

What bt u? Hw do u spend time? have frds nearby?

" request for evidence " is nothing but biometric test.. actually am completed with it. but uscis mailed us again sayin tat they need more evidence like a copy of my marriage certificate my and my hubby's visa , passport and i-94.. so we mailed all these things again.. so till then i was suspended actually.. so actually the processing days will be counting once they recieved those things in hand.. so am stil waiting for my EAD . i guess i applied on june 17th.. hmmm

as of now i dont have any friends near by... i also feel the same as every other gal who stays in a home here feels like bt no other go.. got to live with the situation and overcome from it.. sometimes use to get depressed . but wat to do..and hey i guess we r getting deviated from the actuall discussion.. lets start a new thread for us and chat post thre u start the thread . i ll follow u
