I'm visiting Delhi next month. Can you tell me where I can buy exclusive chikankari/phulkari salwar kameez suits and sarees? I had been to a place called Sanskruti long back and picked up really amazing stuff but I dont remember where it was. I think it was run by a lady called Seema Oberoi. Please enlighten me ladies! Hey Imelda, The best place to buy suits at decent prices in delhi is at the central market lajpatnagar. But dont go to any of the fancy showrooms... go to the khokh's and they'll give you a great price... since you can even bargain with them.. other than that you can also try Shankar market CP outer circle for the suit material... try the emporiums.... they might be expensive but they sell the genuine stuff... or else you can even try chandni chowk.. krishna market.. if you are brave enuf!!!
