    I have recently joind the group. I wish to mention that I have a database of over 14000 classical song lyrics. I am also ale to supply many notaions for songs. Please post your requests. Besides I have statistical information (raga, tala, composer etc) on 37000 songs. Thanks.

    Who is the composer of un mugam kanavum..?. had to delete the reported post as you have already given the lyrics of the song before.

    Does anybody know the slokam that starts like this?

    not a hard job. you have done a great job with providing lyrics and notations for a long time and let us say i am one of the beneficiaries.. my Daughter who is learning cm vouches by your english transliterations..

    the original upload password has been messed up by by some member. let me find a way to bring it to you..i am trying to clean out the hiss, as it is a recording..will share the song as soon as i figure a way..

    I assume this is a composition by yazhpanam veeramani and maharajapuram has been associated with popularising yazhpanam veeramani's compositions. infact i would have discussed one ragamalika with 14 ragas in one of the threads..i think the one that goes like saranga marugane... i think I read both of them moved in close circles when santhanams was in jaffna..(somebody correct me if i am wrong) and most of the songs are on the murugan temple at jaffna..
