    Dear Chellam,

    Your son belongs to Leo Lagna.

    The Jupiter is well placed in its own sign, that too 5th house. It is a great blessing; because Jupiter from 5th will be aspecting the 9th as well Lagna.

    At present, as you said, he is running the dasa of Saturn Mercury Bhukti. One of the principles regarding the operation of dasa is that whenever the dasa of 3rd lord, 6h lord, 8th lord and 12th lord operates,the general period will not be good, unless one of house belongs to either the owner of 1st,5th or 9th house, since except the luminaries, all the planets own two houses.
