    Hello All,

    What is the meaning of " Nidhi " in telugu ? Shall we put this as Pet or Nick name to Baby Boy ? Is this the girl name ?

    I want pet names like which has the meaning of " gold " and some valuable meaning or good meanings . please suggest me.

    Nidhi means treasure, wealth, etc. and it is a girl name. I think the names meaning gold are available only for girl child. I have no idea if there is any such name for boy child.

    But i listened one name that is " udaya nidhi " . this is boy name right? is the " nidhi ' pet name we can use for both boy and girl ?

    Srinidhi is a boy name.

    Pls dont keep nidhi or uadaya nidhi.It sounds v feminine.The boy will not have confidence in his name in growing up years.

    Yeah Nidhi is a feminine name..not just in telugu but all over India .
