It protects skin from the sun's rays, acts an anti-aging agent, and keeps skin smooth and aromatic. Mix sandalwood powder in any of the packs you use & see the difference in your complexion.
Lime or lemon juice, turmeric, honey, tomato, cucumber juice etc are natural bleach..use them to remove tan.
Use the following anti suntan masks recipes:

[FONT=&quot]Turmeric[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

Apply this paste and allow it to dry. Remove the dried mask by massaging and wash it off using luke warm water.

[FONT=&quot]1 tbspn of yogurt[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]1 tbspn orange peel powder[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]1 tbspn oatmeal[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2 tbspn honey[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]1 tbspn almond oil[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Mix all ingredients together, massage for 5 to 7 minutes , rinse with warm water.

[FONT=&quot]3 tsp sandalwood powder[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]juice of lemon, [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Blend together and apply on the face, neck, back and arms. Let it dry, wash off and follow up with a moisturiser.
Fruit pack:[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Mash 8 strawberries[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]half a papaya[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]3 tablespoons of honey. [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Apply on the face, arms, neck and legs. After 15 minutes rinse with cold water for instant brightening.[/FONT]

Hi Friends
i was just going thru some posts here n came to know that many people here desire to get lighter skin...So here it goes...
1) we all know DIET is the first step.So eat RIGHT
2)Drink lots of water.
3)Now something that works for everyone n it has absolutely no side effects.
Start using Melaglow cream( by piramal).It has curcuminoid and soy isoflavones.It doesnt contain any steroids at all.So its totally safe.You need to apply it at night.( just a little).Its available everywhere for Rs 200.
Every alternate night apply Yugard by ranbaxy.Its again safe.Its available for Rs 900 in case u cant afford so much then go for tretin ( available for rs 200).Apply only very little ( pea size).Infact it will give u anti ageing effects as well.
Most Imp USE GOOD SUNBLOCK ( medicated ones like sunban forte spf 50 or sungrace or sun cote spf 30)
Be patient for 3-4 months.Trust me you will love your skin.You will get flawless complexion.

Hi Stuti..

To add to your list the most inexpensive lightener which works as good as bleach is a tip which runs in my family and here i am sharing the secret

Take a spoon of yogurt/curd/Dahi and put two pinches of baking soda in it. Mix it well and apply to your face and keep for 10-15 min...voila you have a bleached skin...

it works wonder and can be done before any important outing or function to attend.

try it ladies/girls...it is very effective..and chemical free...

Thats a very nice tip.Thanks for sharing.When it comes to home made remedies what works for me is cucumber juice.It really acts as a lightener if u apply it continously for 45-50 days.then papaya is a very good natural scrub.

Massage using olive oil daily in ur body then bath using Gram Flour in warm water.... i read this in April 95 mangayar malar issue... so u can try this
