    Hello ladies!

Can anybody suggest some good home made vegetarian food to pack for a 2 day vacation to the beach. We have a fridge and a microwave in the hotel room. The food has to be kid friendly and healthy too..Any ideas:confused2:?

Have a great time on your vacation.:cheers

You can take cauliflower or Potato Parathas.

Rice like lemon rice, yogurt rice etc. If your kids like Idli, that is best.

Since yu will have microwave and fridge, it wil be easy for you to manage.

You can take methi or palak Theplas. It is very easy to make, stays for 3-5 days and you can have it with any chutney, pickles and plain yogurt too. you can make dhoklas too.
Last week we went to Miami for 2 days. We had MW in our room so I took 2-3 packets of maggi with us. I made maggi for breakfast in MW. you can try this.
    Hope this will help.

We are planning the same, and planned to take rice(which we can cook at the hotel using water), ready mix pastes like Puliyogare Paste, Tomato rice paste etc, Maggi noodles packets, Pasta and pasta sauce(the bottle need not be refrigerated until you open it), bread and jam. Hope this helps! :thumbsup
