came here after a long time, attachinga new pic a buddha that was carved by a friend's son formy elder sister's birthday then my brother got a buddha murti from India and my aunt gifted my sis with small buddha's.

I think a couple of plants in planters would be a good idea. Also, you could put up some wall hangings.

Another idea would to display small figurines of gods /animals in terracotta /metal on a side table - that is, if there are no children at home else be prepared to have broken figures!

thanks lot... even i also want to bring green inside... reg wall hangings, mostly i cant, since this is a rented house...

Yes, owners wouldn't want nails on their walls, so wall hangings are out of question. However with glue tack (Fevicol has introduced this in India recently) you can hang patchwork /painting / batik work on cloth which is therefore lightweight. But do check out using a little glue tack on an inconspicuous part of the wall - sometimes the wall paint does peel off.
