    Dear ILites,

Need suggestion from you ladies on baby sitting. My friend who lives in my block asked me to take care of her 6 yr old till end of july. Her DD will be here from 8.30 am - 4.30 pm and she says she'll pay me $25 for the time(full day) I mentioned.

I have a 6 yr old boy and 19 month old girl.My DS and her DD are in same grade and same school.

Need suggestion whether it'll be managable for the whole day with a toddler at home?
    Will there be any problem?
If I'm ready to do, Is the amount ok for a day?Bcoz she says if I feel its less, she is ready to pay more...

    Pls. share ur ideas.

    Thanks.

I pay 6 bucks an hour for my kid. 25 bucks is way too less, i would say.

You can definitely charge atleast 5 bucks, which is a reasonable price to ask. Set a price / hr rather than going for a fixed amt unless you are getting paid 60 bucks /day or something.
