IUI: Queries & suggestions!

I had 3 IUIs and I did not find them painful at all. You might feel minor cramping after that. But it will be very less when compared to the ones you might have during your periods. Just try to divert your mind and think of holding your LO in your hands. I am sure all the pain would vanish.

Thx a lot dears. Is it like HSG? As i dont have any idea of HSG pain i am bit worried. Hope evrything goes fine without much pain.

How is HSG done is it very painful?

Total count: 145 million/Cumm - Good
Morphology normal:40% - Average ( More than 50 0r 60% required)
Active :35% - Less.Must be 60% and above
Pus cells: 12-15 - Not good.(Must be 0 or max 1).Pus cells slow the active cells.It occurs mostly because of smoking,No physical activity to the body,more body heat,stress or other prostrate gland disorders
Agglutination:+ - Not good.Must not agglutinate.


My husband took semen analysis and i found out which is normal asking the doc several times.

Don't worry.My husband left smoking,did some exercise,kept his body and mind cool.The parameters improved above normal.

Im having PCOS now under Metformin for quite sometime, now my insulin level is reduce and my HSG report is also fine. Now my doc asked me to got for IUI in next cycle in Sharjah. My next periods date mostly on 18th/19th Jun and im travelling to india for 3 weeks on 15th July. Now im little confused whether to do IUI now or after my vacation. Is is advisable to travel after IUI? I dont think so... But my DH says that already days are going so he dont want to postpone IUI and asking me to travel after the treatment. Im thinking to do after my vacation.

Please advice.

I have few more doubts:
During my India visit, i'll used to travel to my relatives places & to my native place Thirunelveli. Is it advicable to travel like that after the IUI? I think my question may sound silly.... still I have doubt...
