Hey, I just came here to start this exact same thread! Gayathri beat me to it. Just 4 more days to go. I remember watching the last world cup on ESPN 2 so I am assuming it will be carried by the same channel this time around too. I am rooting for, dare I say it :hide:, USA! I know I know we are ranked 14th and are the ultimate underdogs but I will be happy if the team at least makes it past the second round where they have to play the Krauts! :shaking: Well my second choice is Spain. They are a great team and I hope they win. Brazil has already won 5 times and frankly, they are bit too cocky for my liking!

I love watching Futbol(spelling courtesy - recent trip). I'm looking forward to watching it on an extra large screen in our media room provided by our Apartment Association. I'm yet to zero in on a favourite team. Not sure if I need to go with DH's Brasil, DD's Argentina or Italia or Espana. I'm hoping to watch the leagues and decide on a favourite by the end of the group matches. Too bad the matches happen post midnight Indian time. I don't want to miss the Live action!
