    Hello everyone

Let me thank all of you for giving extremely useful information. I am in UK and new to this forum. We have been trying to conceive since 2 years (Married in 2008). Now we wish to go for IVF. Please tell us from your personal overall experience:

    1) Should I go for IVF in UK or India.
    2) A good IVF clinic in Mumbai or any other city (I have heard of Dr. Kamla Selvaraj in Chennai and Dr Malpani in Mumbai)
    3) Complete Cost of IVF including medicines etc.
    4) Your experience
    5) Risks associated with IVF

I would be grateful for any advice, precaution or any comment.

    Thank you in advance!!

    Hi Asha,

I am also weighing my options for a IVF in India.I heard some good reviews about Dr Malapani.I tried to reach them through the website and they did answer many of my questions.I don't have any live experience with them though.I will keep you posted if I know anything about the clinics in India. The cost at Malapani is roughly about $4000 per each fresh cycle,$1000 for a frozen transfer. They do have a money back guarantee program for $16000 which would cover 4 fresh and 4 frozen transfers. If for any reason the process fails they will refund 90% of our fees.I was able to get the information by speaking to the Dr at the clinic over phone.Hope this helps.

    All the best.

    HI Asha,
Welcome to Indus Ladies & to this forum. You can find our forum guidelines here....

People say IVF costs are low compared to US/other countries over India.
Its cost 1.5Lakhs(INR) + medical costs(20-30K) over here in Chennai.
You need to prepare your mind & body for IVF. Need to arrange for the money. Need some good soul to help you out in this journey...

Hope you have gone through all other set of treatments before going to IVF.
    Good luck with your decisions...
