Weight Loss Buddy

    Hi Alpha ,


    My diet for sunday
    1) 1 tablespoon methi dana + warm water
    2) Breakfast - two and a half chapathis + aalo paneer sabji + 1 puda( its sweet)
    3) Lunch - one bowl rice + 2 puda +aalo paneer sabji
    4) 1 or 2 pieces cake as there was birthday party of my cousion( i had no cream)
    5) Dinner - 2 chapathis + 1 bowl dal

    did pranayam and exercise for 15 min . had 1 litre of water ..

    My diet for saturday -

    1) Breakfast - 2 bread slices ( fried in butter ) + 1 malai sandwich
    2) 1 sandwich with tomotes
    2) Lunch -1 plate rice
    4) 1 cup tea in evening
    5) dinner - 2 chapathis + bhindi sabji

    I am sure we will make it and once we reach the ideal weight I am sure we will be more figure consicious and will maintain it :) Take care dear. Good right ??your dh is your weight watcher. The task becomes easier when we have co-operation at home .:thumbsup

    Thanks for your suggestions. Sure I will check that out for a trainer who can come home on weekends. Hope your mom is fully ok now. I am not posting yesterday's diet as I ate like pig for yesterday's(MIL wanted to go out and DH as well). I have compensated by having light dinner and light breakfast this morning. Hoping to keep today very light.

    i have seen your diet and even earlier i had mentioned that you need to change your diet, please look through what have eaten and posted and tell me where you have gone wrong i already know but i would like you to tell me, i am sorry if i am being harsh or rude but i would like you to take a look and see what you have eaten others please also help me to rectify Mp1112 diet and tell me where she is going wrong. Mp1112 we want to help you but we can only do that once you start helping yourself first

    Dear Alpa,
    Today's diet
    5.30- 7 almonds soaked overnight
    5.45-6.35-workout - wanted to keep it mild
    7.00 - Warm water with lemon & honey
    7.30 - tea
    8.30 - Oats with sprouts
    10.30- 3 dates
    11.30- light coffee
    1.00-2 chapathi with green leaf & dhal
    3.30-Green tea
    4.30- Sprouts
    5.30- Tea( due to headache)
    8.30 - handful rather stomach full of Boiled peanuts:bonk
    I noticed that my sleep patern has got a bit affected after starting the work out, my mind seems to be 120% alert all the time and not allowing to sleep immediately... I am a person who can go off to sleep the second I hit the bed..
    Alpa, can you suggest what I can do to get a good night's sleep. Today's headache was due to that only..

    I know you are trying to help me so need to be sorry ..
    I understand that I need to have more salads and reduce fat intake ..
    I am trying to improve upon my diet -

    Yesterdays diet -
    B- 2 Chapatis + 1 Bowl of Gheeya sabji
    10: 30 am- had a bowl of fruits
    1 pm - 2 chapatis + gheeya
    3:30 - 5 pm - had little namkeen, 1 banana + 1 apple, 1 maggi
    9 pm - had 1 bowl of daal

    had one and a half litre of water .. no exercises ..

    I am sorry ..I will definetely try to improve upon my diet soon ..

    one question - is it ok to have salt sprinkled on fruits during this journey..

    I assure you that I will try to improve my diet ..

    one more question .. if you could answer for me pls ..

    eating almonds and peanuts wont increase the weight gain during this journey.. but I have seen diets including these ..

    pls correct me

    almonds and all kinds of nuts are very good they give you protien, have only a handful.
    now for your diet, try to have only 2 chappatis per day, for breakfast have fruit, oats and something else, mid morning snack have salad or fruit, avoid maggi please. for lunch have 2 chappatis, rice have only little not a whole plate full, cut down on rice and all sweet dishes, mid afternoon snack have fruits, dinner have soups only.

    Hi,
    I went through all your postings its really very impressive and supportive. I have been trying to lose weight for past 5 years but the weight is only increasing :-( , I need to lose around 50 pounds approx 23 kgs. Can i be also part of this so that i get support from you all everyday?

    Weight loss is a very tough thing.My sister was trying to loose weight, and she tried it for 2 years with no significant results because she had thyroid.Unable to loose weight or gaining alot of weight without any reason can be an indication of medical problems. I read an article in Femina 'get rid of water weight', thought that this could be of some help. All the best!! :)
