My name is Dipti n me and ma husband have just moved to Sharjah. We were staying n Dubai earlier. I'm a writer/journo by profession n currently looking for a job. We stay n Al Nadah, close to the Etisalat building to be precise.. Any f u ladies stay around??? Drop n a line n may b we cd exchange few things or could meet.. I am coming soon to sharjah with my baby...may be in june or july....

I m very afraid of shifting to sharjah...as i dont know anything about the city....i dont know anybody over there....

this is geeta sharma from dubai and soon moving to sharjah. i have a small girl and a great hubby. our parents too belong to Amritsar and we often travel there. I am in real need of someone speaking my mother tongue Punjabi since i dont know anyone in Sharjah. I have a great friend circle here in Bur Dubai. I m so to see so many ladies on this forum. I have been staying in Sharjah since August, 2009 (in Al Nabaa Area, Near Rolla) and felt really depressed during the first few months away from family and friends. Though I have settle down a bit, my children (8 and 2) feel really bored at home. Could someone suggest or is living around who has children of same age so that they could interact and play together. I am a stay at home mom.
