that's banana flower. wow! lucky are those who have a garden where you can grow not just small plants but even trees. but many of us have to be satisfied with just a balcony. by the way, banana flower curry,though very difficult to make ,tastes very good. all parts of this tree are useful. my brother had once gifted me a saree made of banana fiber!
