    eliza,

do check out the property plus for new projects announced in the area.

porur has a few new projects, both from big and small players.

some areas do have water stagnation.

    sukhikumaran,

samy school is a matriculation school. It is ok type of school. nothing much to brag about according to one of my cousins.

if you are looking for some school international , check out st.francis international school at kolapakkam, a new school, heard the strength is less, attention is also good.

when you are not too confident about the place, it is better to try it out on a trial for a year and then move on to a better school next year, if the child is in lower classes.

Regarding housing, if it is for rent, there are surplus properties available for rent in the area around samy school.

    Hi ,
I am also staying in valasaravakkam and i agree with our friends opnion, its very difficult to stay in porur since it a junction huge traffic will be there.Porur is now developed like anything you have nilgiris supermarket all banks, but if you take a house in valasaravakkam you can easily access all parts of chennai and hospitals are very near by and schools also la chateline is a very good school and st johns,PSBB millinieum is also a good one but about Pon Vidyaasharam i didnt hear good feedback about that school.Anyhow welcome to our singara chennai:thumbsup and to our valasaravakkam if you need any help you can ask us.In valasaravakkam you have all facilities reliance fresh, nilgiris, grace supermarkets.nandhinees etc etc

    Mugalivakkam Project

    Hi,

I have seen couple of duplex house projects in Mugalivakkam area and I am interested to go for it. Before making a decision, I would like to check with you, how is the area, what about school or children. My husband office is in OMR so he has to travel from Mugalivakkam to OMR everyday, will it be convenient?

    Please advice.

    Thanks,
    Sorna.
