    Without onoin and garlic

    hi madam
    people in my family are bit conservative. BUT I LIKE TO PREPARE PEAS PULOV WITHOUT ONOIN AND GARLIC. HOW TO MAKE DELICIOUS PEAS PULOV. HELP ME.
    also share your views on onion and garlic. will it really hampers the spiritual development of a person if they consume those vegetables.:drowning

    My friend lives in my neighborhood and hence, we have only gas stove. And, my cosis who lives in chennai have been using this double rotis method for a looong time and have tasted her rotis too which is extremely soft and good.

    Well this agin is an individual choice to use onion n garlic. But here is one receipe for peas pulao without onion n peas

    Ingredients:
    To Grind
    2 tamatoes
    ginger one small piece
    1 green chilli

    1 cup green peas
    1 cup rice
    2 cups water
    Salt to taste
    1/2 tsp red chilli pwd
    1/4 tsp turmeric pwd
    2 tsp pulao masala

    Receipe

    *grind tamatoes, ginger & chilli together & keep aside
    *heat 2 tbl spn oil in pressure cooker, put mustard seeds in hot oil & put the tamato mixture & saute for a while, till it leaves oil
    *now add peas, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli pwd, pulao masala & saute for a while now add rice & water & close the lid of the pressure cooker
    *take 3 pressure whistles & the pulao is ready

    Kozhkattai

    I tried to make mini kozhakattais from rice flour & idiappam flour. After mixing with water & cooling, the dough is thick. But, when I make the kozhakattais and steam them, they all stick to each other and become one big mass.

    Please advise since this is one of my favorite dishes.

    hi,
    have tried many of ur recipes......as u told, some came out well...others on trial.....reg coconut dosa....this is not the one which is made by adding coconut milk while grinding...but coconut milk is poured oevr the dosa while serving......can u pl tell me the measurement for just 4 persons:)
