    I would like to bring all you near and far from thanjavur ilites under one thread, so that you can really meet more of us here.

    and i take this post to emphasise on the forum guidelines that says no to SMS STyle words.

    Please make it easy for others to understand and also to reply. it is also good for us to not forget the language by taking the easy route.:biglaugh

    I am from Thanjavur. Living and working in California at present. I did my UG at Kundavai Naachiyaar college. Planning for a vacation to Tanjore. All excited.:)

    Hi Ladies from Tanjavur.........am commenting on this link as it is being chaired by my namesake..I am also a Uma Sridharan and its quite strange to come across another one with the same name...I live in Delhi but am from Chennai...never visited Tanjavur..so its quite interesting to read all your old comments:)

    Though my native is not Thajavur, I did my BTech there from Shanmugha college of engineering and stayed in St.Mary's hostel (route to medical college). Loved those days. We friends used to visit the temple and sivagangai garden at times during weekends. Whoooh became nostalgic :)

    I was born in Thanjavur and studied in Auxiliam from 3rd to 5th. My mama and maternal grandparents still live there.

    Nice to see a lot of ILites from Thanjavur.

    I m also from Tiruvarur, studied in GRM GHSS, '98 passout. Happy to see someone from my native place. Thought its a small town it is peaceful & I just love Tiruvarur. Got married & settled in bangalore. Hw abt u?
