    Hi Ruchi,

    I too stay in Reston..Moved here some 10 months back from Chennai along with my hubby on an L2 visa and right now am also on the look out for volunteer jobs..Please let me know if you have already started volunteering...I am new to IL and so if there is any other means of contacting you please let me know..:)

    If you are on L2 , u can work in US.. r u specifically looking for voluntary work.. I attended for orientation but didn't find a work of my interested.
    what kind of voluntary work you want to do...I can provide u few sites add..u can go to reston library and check for options..

    hey Ruchi thanx for the info reg the voluntary orgn...s i can work in L2 but Reston seems to be a software hub, best suitable for IT people :)..I have 3 n half yrs xperience in an e-publishing industry n here i could barely find an epublishing industry! Though I have a B.tech in Comp Sc degree, I am least interested in software n it's my last option only! I just got my work permit couple of days back n now am looking out for some admin kind of jobs or any suitable job/voluntary jobs to escape from boredom :)..As u suggested I will look into the options in the library....if u r aware of any websites jus let me know..thanx a lot..btw did u try the YMCA???
