    Re: Butter Chicken

You can do same in another way.
All the Ingredients are the same,

First heat 3-4 tea spoons of oil in a pan, then add onions wait till its golden brown, then add ginger garlic paste , cinamon, tomatoes, cook until soft.

Then wait till it cool's down, then make it into a fine paste and keep aside.

Then heat 2 table spoon full butter, add a little kasthuri methi ,then the mixture, a pinch of red colour(food colour) and previously fried chicken pieces then add pinch of powdered sugar (very little).

This will give the same taste like the one which we get in restaurants.

I threw a party at my place last month and made butter chicken using this recipe.
Place the yogurt, ground almonds, all the dry spices, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and salt in a mixing bowl and blend together thoroughly.
Put the chicken into a large mixing bowl and pour over the yogurt mixture.
Set aside. Melt together the butter and oil in a medium karahi, wok or frying pan. Add the onions and fry for about 3 minutes. Add the chicken mixture and stir-fry for about 7 to 10 minutes.
Stir in about half of the coriander and mix well. Pour over the cream and stir in well. Bring to the boil. Garnish the indian butter chicken with the remaining chopped coriander to serve the chicken curry.
It was a complete hit in my party and trust me it tasted amazing when paired with wine.We had It with Sula Mosaic. You could also try it with some white wine and I would suggest one from Sula because its my favorite and goes perfectly well with butter chicken.
