"Around the world, the perception about India is changing. And across India, the perception about Bihar is changing,” said Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

Very true and inspiring indeed! Bihar is now on the path to become next only to Gujarat among the fastest-growing states in the country — it has achieved a stunning 11.3% growth in 2008-09.

Bihar was once considered and portrayed as a fine example of backwardness and 'Badland' - associated with everything that is wrong with India. However, it has now been showcasing large scale development not only in the agricultural sector but also in the industrial component - inviting large scale investment in the traditionally 'natural resources & manpower rich' Bihar.

What does our Bihari community feel about this 'Winds of Change' that is sweeping Bihar? And how do you think you can contribute to its prosperity?

Truly Inspiring. I saw last night Bihar CM Nitish Kumar being awarded 'Politician of the year' Award at NDTV Indian of the Year Award. And he dedicated the award to the 'never say die' attitude of the people of Bihar.

Hope we get to see a new Bihar and 'mehenati' Biharis need not wander as migrant labourers.
Wonder what people with perceptions like Mr. Raj Thackery has to say to this. :confused2:
