Hi all, I am sure many of you must have watched this 'Phir mile Sur' in Zoom tv. Did you like it? I was pissed off mg: after watching the whole song and was wondering when it will end. Also too much of importance given to bollywood stars. I meant each star is coming for more than half a minute whereas it was not like that in the old one. Your comments please.
Seriously preethi Its awesome i liked it... Yeah todays world has changed a lot nahhh.. Too much of bollywood has come into each and every aspect..
Hi Preethi, I did not like it as they show only film stars and few of the sports people, i feel we have so many people who are worth to be prt of such a song. I would only prefer the old one(anytime)... Regards, Pandu
Hey Preethi... This is the talk of the town presently. NDTV India too had a poll a few hours back on the preference of old to new.... 88% prefered the old & only 12% the new. I felt it was too long... I had to watch it in 2 parts on youtube... both nearly 8mins & 15mins long.... So put together that's about 16 mins... Some parts were good & some not so.... I really liked the pieces performed by Salman, Atul-Sonali Kulkarni, Shaan to name a few..... Didn't fancy Amir Khan's one bit.... Yes... too much of Bollywood... But I also like the fact that there were sports persons from other fields like Baichung, Brindra, etc other than cricketers.
Few portions were good. As u have mentioned ani, its tooooo long... I didnt like the part where deepika comes in a short dress :rant. Atleast for these she could have worn a sari or salwar. Priyanka was looking gracious in salwar.
Yeah I agree with Preethi... Deepika was unwanted in the song.. I didnt like surya's appearance too... The background was lacking liveliness.. Liked Amitabh's very much...Salman's too....
Hey Ladies, There is already another thread running on this.Check it out.. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/music-and-dance/83799-phir-mile-sur-mera-tumhara-2.html
I totally was :spinwhen I saw Deepika too.... True... the least she could do was wear something Indian....
It was long, too many instruments, and loud. There was no melody and has no charm as the old one.. And not to mention how long it was.! I don't think I retained even a single frame!
