    Hi Mods,
I wish to nominatehttp://Son what are your future plans for me? by Jaishree.
I enjoyed the concept which make us think what do we do for our parents. In Indian upbringing it is duty of all children to take care of our parents. We cannot compare in this to the west because in west parents do not support children after school. While most middle class parents toil so hard to give the education for the children , that they hardly think about savings for themselves.
So the question is justifyed what are your future plans for me. Iam impressed with the concept.

    Dear Jaya,

It is always a pleasure to see you here.

You have nominated a post which talks about the favorite subject of mine at present. Come to think of it, can there be any time in life where a parent cannot be the favorite subject?!! Parents are a part and parcel of our lives. Without them, we do not even exist.

The nomination is very interesting and I shall soon read it. Coming from you, I have no doubt that it is a gripping post.
    Thanks for the nomination.

    Dear Kamla,

I would like to second the nomination for Mindi's post 'The best birthday I had..'
    http://www.indusladies.com/forums/sn...-have-had.html

Mindi has mastered the art of self containment that can only be arrived at by a mature mind.
Her candid style of narration endears us instantly and her thought process through out brought to my mind the famous lines by the English poet William Blake.....
"To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
    And Eternity in an hour".
Mindi's perception elevated even the simplest act of listening to her favourite singers through the day or cooking a simple meal as something very special as she focussed on her attitude towards all of it driving home the lesson that there is joy to be found in everyday things that one takes for granted.

    Hey Paulina...!

It is always a pleasure to read you and I am happy to see you here nominating a very worthy post by Mindian.

I don't know what impressed me more, Mindian's take on how to enjoy the simple pleasures of life or your words describing her post! I sure am drowning in this sea of highly talented writers! An absolute pleasure, no less!
