at the end of sixth week take all those immersed lemon n drop it into temple or burn it. correct me if am wrong
Dear Chithra, Thank you very much for giving all the details( including the simple Tamil songs for 6 weeks) on performing the Aaru Vara Maangaattu amman pooja. I came across the details when I was searching for a groom for my daughter. Your encouraging message gave me lots of comfort and motivation. As I am living in Dubai, I performed the pooja at home . My daughter also did the pooja with me. After completing 6 weeks, we preserved the lemons in the fridge and offered the lemons we used for the pooja at the main deity's sannidhi at Mangadu Temple when we visited India . When we were in front of the Devi, the prohit at the temple took a garland from Devi 's neck from the main sannidhi and gave it to my daughter. He blessed her saying that she would be visiting the temple with her husband with in 3 months. Do I need to tell you how we felt when we heard his words? By the immense grace of Goddess Mangattu Devi my daughter's marriage got finalised in a short time. Devi blessed my daughter with a groom of her dreams.By Her grace the engagement ceremony took place during our visit to India last month. I dont have enough words to express my joy and gratitude to you for showing me this divine path to seek Her blessings. I am sure my message here will reinforce the faith in people with similar prayers. May Goddess shower you and your family with Her blessings for doing this service. Thanks again. Aishwaryam.

Dear Lakshmi, sorry for missing your previous post. There is no puja involved AS FAR AS I KNOW. It is only going to the temple in person. Somebody else has written about the puja part. I am not aware of it, sorry. Love, Chithra
