HI another one that I tried
    Oats paratha

    1 cup atta
1 cup oats( powder it in the mixie)
    and 1/2 cup besan

add chopped onions, cilantro, chilli powder, ajwain and mix it into a chapathi dough. Make parathas the usual way. Tastes nice.

Also, we can use powdered oats as a thickening agent for soups instead of corn flour. Its healthier.

    Oats payasam (sweet)

Take one cup oats and pour water till the oats immerse and allow it to boil till it gets cooked.

Boild 500ML milk and add elachi, sugar, saffron and dry grapes to the milk. The milk to change to yellow color as we add saffron.

In one spoon ghee fry cashew and add to milk. Now add the cooked oats and boil it for 2 mins.

    Oats payasam is ready.
