Dear Sridhar,
I read this episode on the day I was leaving to my native! And the episode was rich with thoughts that it occupied me through out my travel! I repeated those 4 beautiful lines and drank its meaning!
So beautifully conveyed that every moment of our life is with God and everything is God!
The lines where Loganathan talks about the fact that when we consider all the good things needed for life is from God and 'is' God then even the sufferings are a form of His Love. The sufferings teach us to understand and value His Love in the form of all good things God gives us! It teaches us to value life as God's Love!!!!!

Thanks for bringing this lovely episode enriched with meaning!

Dear Sridhar Uncle,

“உண்ணும் சோறு கண்ணன்<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O />
பருகும் நீர் கண்ணன்

தின்னும் வெற்றிலையும் கண்ணன்
எல்லாம் கண்ணன்”

I have chanted these lines so many times in the process of reading the story. Everytime I read your stories, I feel a sense of peace. I've learnt something new, something meaningful.

In our culture, only elders are allowed to bless those younger than them. So I cant say 'God Bless You' ... but I pray to God to bless you, grant you a long, healthy and happy life!

Hari Om Accha!
I'm amazed by the remarkable Love shown by LOGU and of coz never forget to Thank our azhwars who clear us and guide us the ways to get closer to Sriman Narayanan.

That was indeed a very great thing to learn today. And I learn it from you Accha.
Neeye enthan ullam, Neeye enthan udal, Neeye enthan uyir....
Ellam Neeye Kanna... Ellam Neeye Kanna.. Ellam Neeye Kanna....
That was the first two lines of a bhajan song I learn from my dad when I was small... Deffinately I'm going to teach my students the song in my bhajan class tom...
Thanks Alot for the story and the great thought which you share with us accha.
With Love,
vashini

Dear DD,

I am happy that you found this thread at last. I badly wanted you to read this story. I know you will like it. I was about to write something else in this thread. But when I was in Chennai suddenly this thought came to me and I wrote this story.

And the bhajan song you have quoted, that also reflects the spirit of this paasuram.

Please teach the song to your students. Tell them to chant it all the time. I am sure you are sowing holy seeds in the most fertile lands. The results would be beneficial to the whole world, DD.

Take Care,
love,
your acchhan

Hari Om accha!
Really accha... To acheive the level of bhakti like Logu... It's need true and pure bhakti... Not everyone able to reach that stage... It is easy to say but not easy to practice it like Logu ... He is really a great person accha... Guess God Love Him so much and that's why take him away from this world so that he won't suffer more in this Maya Logam ...

I have teach the song to my students accha.. They love it and the most amazing thing on it is they catch up with the tune and lyrics in the first time singging the song itself....

Thanks to you accha....

Love,
vashini

Dear Sridhar Uncle,

This episode was so special and touching..
I have no words to describe this kind of Love..
I hope and pray to God that He guides us to Love Him With All our strength..
What more does He want, He wants us to realise our innate nature i.e. pure Love.. realise that everyone, everything around us is Him..
When I was a small girl, I always wondered and fought about this- When someone sheds their body, people immediately start addressing the body as body and not by the persons name.. I used to say, how can you say 'body' its the same person, your own Mr xx.. But it is now that I realise that, the body is merely an instrument, a tool.. the true person is that life within.. That 'I' which never dies.. That 'I' which is nothing but God..

But again, it is a sadhana to practise loving someone who is not 'nice' to you.. to think that someone acting evil is also a form of God.. To think that we must not punish anyone but punish the act..

I haven't come across any spiritual literature in Tamil, as I dont read or understand tamil.. Would be greatful if you could point to any english translations of the Thiruvaimozhi..

Regards,
EverHappy

Dear everhappy,
thanks for the nice words. When I translated this chapter and sent it as a sample chapter the editor at the publishers was jumping in joy. Even now he thinks that this is the best I've written. And thanks a lot for your flowing fb.
I am deeply moved by your interest in Thiruvaimozhi. In fact I am holding online Divya Prabandham classes in English for a few ladies, mostly NRIs in facebook.
You are most welcome to the class. But that is a closed group.
But as the admin I can include you. You need to be a facebook member. And if you are so please send a friendship request to me. I am there in fb as Varalotti Rengasami. I have already posted 20 classes.
I don't just post the songs. I always tell a story and at the end of the story there comes a song either from Thiruvaimozhi or other Azhwars.
looking forward to seeing you in the class,
regards,
sridhar
