Thanks, Vanisha. I am impressed by the vigorous follow-up you have on your bmi. I wish I had that kind of dedication to it. My bmi is about 29.

nice story, kids are innocent and well this girl is mature too and should say sensible. No wonder parents think like that with their daughter having such a heart condition. They would have felt the same point of view as their daughters but practically they cant take a risk in their daughters case.and sometimes making kids understand maybe not be possible.but still, should say parents can try explaining to kids if it works.

one more wonderful story on how kids can teach morals to adults with their innocence..

vishalini has to be treated with a new pup (this time authentically bought from a pet store :)

There is a saying in English that a child is the father of a man. for many days I could not understand the import of the saying. It does not say simply that the child is more intelligent than its parents. A child is blessed with innocence which many times is the cosmic intelligence at pay. Whereas our acquired intelligence (through studies and sensory experiences) is many times nothing but cunningness.
thanks neethu for the nice words, neethu. Many times parents do not take the trouble of explaining to kids. They invariably give a yes or no answer. Both are dangerous in the absence of a proper detailed explanation.
    love,
    sridhar
