    Dear Mami,

Just now had CurryLeavesIdlis. Earlier whenever I used curry leaves powder, it was just because of its health benefits. For the first time, I relished it [IMG]. Idlis too look so beautiful. I made mini idlies for this.

Yesterday I made the mild, yummy Sweet Potato Melgore [IMG].
Mami, you know what---Few days back while looking for another dish, my eyes fell on the pic of Melgore...and I drooled[IMG]. Couple of days later I bought Sweet potatoes just for that. When I decided to look for the recipe, I realised that I had not even noted the name of the dish, and was not sure, in which thread I saw it. Yesterday I spent so much time in IL just for tracing down this one [IMG].
    It was worth it [IMG].

And I have started loving oats, just for its Cutlets [IMG]. It was a repeat..but this time more tastier than before.

    Thanx

Caramel Poha Payasam Rocks! It is almost like a drink, and I gobbled it up last night.

Chocolate Mousse turned up more like a thick chocolate payasam with the china grass strands floating all over it. It was a mistake :bonkon my end to not notice the china grass crystals mentioned in the recipe. We drank half of it, but the other half was pretty not taken for. Had this brainwave ( thats how I call my ideas if it turns out good ) of a idea to make chocolate falooda. I tried googling on a recpie, but could not find any. So bought some of the vanilla-chocolate combination ice cream, poured chocolate sauce( your recpie) instead of rose syrup and topped with nuts and praline. Kannama Pochu! I am so happy.:cheers

Amma made phulkas. I made Dhaba Alu and Aloo Dum Dhaba Alu is truly a revelation. It uses onions, garlic and ginger - things we often use on a sabzi, but I never knew the methos of cooking with a close pan can cring about so much flavours. What I truly love about your recpies is the ability to bring new tastes with ingredients we have always known( Kashmiri Roti is a example!)

Mami is so impressed with me.:thumbsup

    Love

    Arch

    Re: K.k.

Dear Rama, kaju katli is one quick sweet - powdering cashes takes hardly a minute, but idenifying the right sugar consistency decides the result!
Great that it turned up perfect.
Now, something interesting. Yesterday I tried Sone Burfi with candy thermometer & also to post step by step photos. I happened to browse on the net if there is any other recipe for the same. Onlyour forum has the recipe.:thumbsup
My recipe version did'nt come, but pat came your FB that you tried it & it was easier than Angel Burfi!
    Thanks for your 'continuous FB-support'!!
    Love,
    Chithra

Saras, first I appreciate your giving links with FBs. Great Idea!:thumbsup
I too love curry leaf powder best in idlis than with rice.
If you forget the name, Goto that kuzambu page in recipe index, press Ctrl F & type sweet potato. It will take you to all S P recipes.
It is the trick of the coconut milk which makes it yummy!!
Now I feel tempted to make oats cutlets - long time!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Arch,
A second FB in a row with links! Very useful to those who read FBs!
So long as you can turn out the 'sumar-dish' into something interesting
    you are a good cook!
Arch, I believe in exotic recipes than in exotic ingredients! If you think, I am patting my own back, I retort - you made me do it!
Please your mami - she has kindly brought you so many things!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Mam,

today tried your recipe for "tomato noodle soup".and also the "cauliflower -tomato-paneer subji" with soft o soft phulkas.

today my little one wanted to hav noodles only so tried it and we were all bowled by its taste.it is very tasty soup and too good to make us disappoint to see the finished cup.next time i will have to prepare double the qty.i dont know how i missed this all these days.

cauliflower with tomato n panner made yet another interesting taste .it was too different than the regular taste .adding paneer at the end all to gether changed the dish.

thanks for giving us a wide range of choices for the table assuring all the satisfied smiles in return.

    lots of love
    raji
