    Hi sakshi,
there r lots of oats recipes i hv, but i think IL does not allow us to post links to our private blogs, so here is my oats dosai recipe, shall post other recipes later. enjoy this really delicious and healthy oats dosai.

    Ingredients:
    Oats – 3 cups
    Rice – ½ cup
Curd or buttermilk – just enough to cover the oats
    Onions – 1 finely chopped
Green chillies – 2 finely chopped
Coriander leaves – a small bunch chopped finely
    Cooking oil – 3 tbsp
    Salt to taste

    Method:

    1. Soak oats and rice in the buttermilk for about half and grind until it reaches a dosai batter consistency.

    2. Now add salt, finely chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and mix well.

    3. Heat a tawa, pour a lade full of oats dosai batter and spread it. Pour a little oil around the dosai and cover.

    4. Flip the dosai after one or two minute. It takes a little longer to cook. Cook the other side. Do not cover after turning the dosai.

    5. Remove from the tawa. Serve hot with any chutney.

Kids enjoy this with honey or any fruit jam.

    A simple one is,

    - Boil oats, cool it a bit and add butter milk, little salt, hing (perungayam), season it with mustard and green chillies (optional) and have it as breakfast drink or can have it as lunch (replace curd rice).
    - Oatmeal porridge/kanji - boil oats in water, add milk and sugar/jaggery or honey.

I also make oats adai and oats kichidhi regularly from Chitra Aunty's "Oats Recipes".

u can prepare oats uppuma . Its bit elastic but good for health and should be consumed soon after cooking.
    Ingredients :

    chopped tomato -1/2 cup
    cut vegetables - 1/2 cup
    green chilli -1
    red chilli -1
    oats - 2 cup
    water -3 cups
    salt and oil -as required

Place kadai on stove and saute some musturd seeds and urudhal.Add cut onions and chillies with kari pathar and saute still it turns brown ( Can add some pinch of salt to onions to reduce oil consumption ) .Add tomatoes ,fry still more .Then add cut vegetables.Following that add oats and fry for 2 min. and add water now with required salt .Mix this well and close the lid for few min. to get oats cooked .
Serve with garnished corriander. (consume soon u cook to get best taste).

In a pressure cooker at 1:1/2 oats and moong dal. Once cooked do the pongal tadka

    i.e.,
Take ghee, add mustard->curry leaves->ginger->jeera->peppercorns->groundnuts. Once a nice aroma comes add the cooked oats and dal and voila pongal ready :)
