    Dear Chitramma,

I made Kashmiri Roti for S's lunch box and he said though it tasted good, it was hard. What could I have done wrong? What brand of wheat flour you use?

    Thanks again,

    Love
    Shyamala

    Dear SS,
I avoid buying branded wheat flour. I usually buy wheat & grind in the flour mill.
    If the rotis became hard
Either the dough was too stiff
    Or
You roasdted it on the tava for long!
    Love,
    Chithra.

Dear Viji, cooked lentils are best not stored because they become smelly.
In warm weather whatever is prepared in the morning will not last till evening. It is best to prepare fresh & eat! :)
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chitramma,

Yes, i put on the tava on low flame as I was busy with the day's cooking on the other burners. I will never repeat the mistake again.
Wheat as we get in the shops or ration? Do we have to dry it or just like that give it to them to grind? Pl let me know.

Today made MW Puliitta Keerai with Amarnath. The taste was good but the colour changed totally. What is partially covering the bowl? How to do it? I use pyrex/ borosil bowls only. Only a big one I have with lid on top. Pleas let me know.

    Love
    Shyamala
