HI,
here are some news connected with the murder and the CBI investigation.
There are some unanswered questions that still raise doubts over CBI's ability to solve this murder mystery 2008:

1) CBI is acting solely on the evidences received from narco-test. This is not admissible in the court
of law.

2) The CBI yet to recover the murder weapons and lost mobile phones. Without the recovery of these vital instruments, CBI will find it difficult to prove the crime.

3) The CBI has termed Dr. Rajesh Talwar as a suspect for long. But it did not carry out any narco-analysis test either on Rajesh Talwar or on Nupur Talwar. This is one of the important questions that still baffle common people. Still, we can assume that CBI may have enough reasons for deciding against a narco-test on Talwars.

4) CBI says Krishna decided to take revenge, as he had a fight with Dr. Rajesh Talwar two days ago. Did Krishna kill Arushi over such a trivial issue or there was anything else? And why did Rajkumar and Vijay Mandal help him?

5) Why Hemraj was killed? And, why did he allow three people inside Dr. Talwar's house in the night?
6) Why was Dr. Rajesh Talwar kept in custody for such a long period if there was no evidence against him?

7) It's surprising that Dr. Rajesh Talwar and Dr. Nupur Talwar did not get a clue of the presence of four people inside the house. According to CBI theory, the killers tried to rape Arushi and there was a scuffle. The question still remains unanswered how the parents were not alerted even as such developments were going on inside their house. Arushi's bed room was not too far from their bed room.

While we appreciate the CBI for letting off an innocent person, who has been staying in custody for more than a month and was subjected to mental agony, CBI needs to answer the queries that still remain mystery to millions of people who have been eagerly waiting for the CBI to crack the case.
with love

Dear Padmini
Thanks for your detailed response. I agree that the mobile phone and murder weapon are vital clues in this case. Its believed the CBI even searched the drains of the locality in search of the murder weapon. This gave some relief to the neighbours as the municipality was not removing the blockages in the drains despite their best efforts.:)

I think Narco test was conducted on both Dr Talwar and Hemraj, But the test proved inconclusive and it is believed that Hemraj introduced a new person in his narco report.

Hi Sanjana
I stand corrected. It is a typographical mistake.
It was Krishna and not Hemraj who was subjected to Narco test.

This was one of the cases which I don't think can ever be solved. Police did a good job in making sure that the culprits (parents) never get caught by doing incredible jaldbaazi in reaching to a conclusion.

Now they are free for life and can even play a victim of the system role. :rant

Good job Noida police!!!!

We all know that Arushi Murder case has foxed even the best of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place>’s sleuths. It is now slowly emerging how that Murderer has escaped the long arm of the law for so long. A respected newspaper from South India, has stated that forensic investigators of the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Hyderabad</st1:City></st1:place> have determined that vaginal swabs of Arushi Talwar were substituted by a vaginal swab from an unidentified woman.

Its clear that somebody has conspired to replace the vaginal swabs with the clear aim of derailing the investigations and hiding the identity of the real culprit.

Will this culprit ever get punished? What do you think?:rant

It must be the dad, but do the cops have a case that sticks? I dont think so.

They'll never figure out anyway, because the cops have bungled up from day 0
>every one was all over the scene of both murders
>the crime scene was washed after police permission!
>and the cops have the most chaotic press conferences..

Well i do not want to blame but I just feel certain about it.

The replacement of Arushi's vaginal swabs is all over the newspapers now!
I am not at all confident in view of the all round bungling by the UP Police and even UP Hospital authorities that the case will be solved at all. Such a thing would never have happened in Delhi and the culprits would have been behind bars long ago.

I think slowly and steadily the case will come to a conclusion now. As per print media reports, the Delhi Police have found Arushi's mobile phone and handed it over to the CBI. The mobile phone was picked up a lady sweeper near Talwar's home who then handed it to her brother who lives in Bulandshahr. The mobile phone was traced by means of the IMEI number.
The mobile phone may shed some light on the strange murder.
