I'll be relocating to Dubai by end of this month. I would like to know whether i can ship some food stuffs like sambar powder, coffee powder, rice etc. thro' my packers & movers. Or should I carry all the food stuffs in hand only. Are Dubai customs authority v.strict in this? Pls clarify. Thanks Latha

Thank you friends, for the input. Jezz_nish, I'm planning to rent a house in Ghusais area (preferably in Damascus st, Amman st, Baghdad st) since my hubby will be working in Airport freezone. If any of you know abt any 2 bedroom apartment avl for rent in these places, pls let me know. BTW, anyone staying in this area? Pls reply. Thanks.
Dear Friends, Finally after a week of house hunting, I found a 2 BR apt in Qusais near Grand Hotel. I would like to make new friends who stay in and around this area. I would also like to know more abt extra curricular activities taught in this place (like drawing class, abacus, yoga, music). I would like to put my 51/2 yr old daughter in the same.
