    Hey ladies :),

Do You Have DRY & Damaged Hair? Try This New Shampoo and Conditioner..

Its l'OREAL PARIS new OMEGA -moisture complex vive pro hyra gloss moisturizing shampoo..and for conditioner same L'oreal paris new royal jelly omega complex vive pro hydra gloss moisturizing conditioner ...its for Dry and damaged hair..I have to admit, I was excited about my shampoo and conditioner. As I got to the rinse part of my shampoo, I was running my fingers through my hair. It felt like silk. It made me think my hair didn't have any damage, how could damaged hair feel so amazing? Now, in small print at the bottom of the bottles, it boasts in thick letters "Contains Omega 3 &4,Royal jelly and olive oil,"all the 3 are very gud for ur hair and it really did have that cashmere touch, and not just in the shower either. Even after my hair dried, it still felt amazing. This was with just one wash! The conditioner was the same as the shampoo, it simply made my hair feel wonderful while using it and I'm sure it helped work its magic once it dried as well. It was true with the 'mirror shine' as well. There was no down side with this product what-so-ever and if I keep using it, hopefully I will no longer have damaged hair. With my new shampoo and conditioner revelation, I have to say, no more 88-cent shampoo and conditioners for me. L'Oreal Paris now has a permanent spot in my shower.U can get this SHAMPOO AND CONDITONER in walgreens.I think for shampoo its 4.50$ and for conditioner 4.50$ totally it comes around 12$ with tax..Trust me its worth to get.

    How to Use :-

shampoo -Apply to wet hair and massage gently into a lather...rise thoroughly..if nesasery do it twice...and Rinse thoroughly

conditioner -Massage gently through wet hair after shampooing..take a super big Massage comb and just comb ur hair smoothly and gently with care to achieve wonderful silky hair..and its gud for your scalp too...

Hope this will help u all..
    Gud luck :thumbsup

    Hi Ladies
I have can tell you some of the things that I know about keeping your hair nice in USA northern environment.

As mentioned, the chlorine is tough on hair. What I did as I want chlorine out of my house (it is what makes your black colored clothes get faded in the wash) so what I purchased was a magnetic water softener which I use in addition to the rust filter on the incoming water in the house. The magnetic filter makes the chlorine evaporate immediately as it exits the taps so drinking water etc is better. It clamps on the water pipe at entry to the house and it can be taken to next residence when you move as its only clamped a specific way on the pipe (you could take it back to India if you ever moved back and put it on the pipe between the tank and the house.) I paed a good price for it but its life expectancy is greater than 100 years so long term its cheap.

Secondly with central heating its best to humidify the house. You can get an electric steam or dry mist one at discount dept stores. If you get the steam one, you can use when you have a cold and also put the vapor meds in the water.

The traditional thing was to brush the hair with a natural boar bristle brush nightly which distributes natural oils. Quality of brush is very important.

Use a good quality shampoo and don't use too much. Using too much dries out the hair. Some women opt for using Johnsons baby shampoo...you can try that. You can also get a shikakai shampoo that is very good...its name is Shikai and available in health food stores.

    Hope this helps.

    Tina

Hair fall usually happens due to nutritional deficiencies and not due to soap, shampoo, water etc.One thing in US is all of us have shower so the mechanical trauma to the hair is much more than when u take bath with a mug and bucket. It doesnt matter which shampoo or which water.Just be watchful about whether or not you have seborrhoea/dandruff.Most of the time hairfall occurs due to this.Oiling the hair more frequently has no advantage. It only helps in grooming your frizzy hair and not for the noursihment. On an average 75 to 100 strands fall everyday. As aging occurs we tend to lose more hair.

Too much washing hair can cause harm so also not washing hair.Weekly once is more than enpough especially in the US where we hardly sweat.:thumbsup

Just wanted to add my bit..
The mechanical trauma on hair due to showering is very very true.. I had that problem initially.. then I decided, I will buy a bucket and mug.. Yes, I know it sounds like a villager.. but I use bucket and mug for bathing the indian way on my hair wash days.. This has slowed my hair fall and tangling problems considerably.. Also, same solution helps avoid chlorine too.. do you know how? When you fill bucket with water.. you can see its whitish due to chlorine.. now.. let the water sit for an hour or so.. and then most of the chlorine would have come out ( similar to what happens when you open soda bottle.. but ofcourse.. the chlorine content is low and bucket is widemouthed.. so not very dramatic :) )
Must tell you, the bucket mug thingie works well !
Another problem I had from using shower for headbath is that my hair gets horribly flat after the wash.. it feels like very low volume.. switching back to bucket has resolved that too !
So, give it a try, and you'll see how sometimes, its wiser in the long run to look foolish for those few minutes every week :thumbsup

    Regards
    Savitha

As Nandhusuresh mentioned,m also using Loreal's shampoo and conditioner..And conditioner has given me amazing results.Though the hairfall didnt decrease but texture surely has improved..Usage of shampoo alone would not do wonders. It has to compliment with Conditioner.

Fifty years ago here in USA showers were not as available as now and folks would take baths instead. Many ladies would wash their hair in the sink with the aid of a glass. Same type of idea as using the Indian bucket/cup method.

    Hi Ladies,

It's been 3 years that i had been here and i still can't stop my hair loss. Can't say it is because of my thyroid condition or because of chlorine.I workout 3 days a week and need to shower my hair everyday 2 days.I started using Garnier Triple Nutrition System(Shampoo and Conditioner).Did not stop the hair fall but i think it is helping me add a litte shine to my hair.
Shall try the L'oreal Shampoo and let you guys know.
