    Thankyou for joinig us here.
    A small correction - you can sleep with your head on the south & not on the north. The latter is supposed to create minor disturbances owing to magnetic fields.
    The deity can face any direction - no bar. We should avoid namaskaram facing south - that is all.
    For a youngster, your interest in all these, amazes me.

    A very nice F B & thanks for sharing the incident with us.
    Very often, we do pradakshinams very fast, to finish the counts on time. We are living in a fast paced life & we have to keep pace with all our activities, without missing out on anything.
    May be instead of doing 108 fast, we must train our minds to accept that a lesser count done like periyaval's method is equally good.

    I thoroughly enjoyed reading this week's posting about the significance of doing Pradhakshinam. The post was very informative. I like the sloka "Yani Kani" very much. Your post brought back memories abt the Krishna temple near my place. I used to visit the temple regularly and do pradhakshinams.

    Eagerly waiting for ur write up abt the New Year.

    long time back, I had taken a vow to do 108 pradakshinams in Guruvayur ! I really found it tough, more because of the crowd surging in ! I am reminded of it when yu write about Krishna temple !
