Well, there is no harm in trying! But we get creamy pedas only from full fat milk.
    Love,

    dear Mrs Chitvish,
We dont very often get mehi leaves here. Can I use dried kasuri methi in your "carrot methi" recipe?

Made Carrot pickle after going thru ur mixed vegetable pickle recipe. It has a nice tangy flavour to it.I made it with only 4 carrots.Going to make more this weekend.

With ur dried powder recipe given in jiffy cooking,do i have to roast the dhania and peanuts in oil?I dried roasted them.dint have peanuts so used walnuts.Made brinjal-vazhakai curry and added it to that.Had added some water for cooking the veggies and added the powder to that.
But the flavour wasnt enhanced.Could you please tell me what went wrong.

Crumble methi leaves between your palms & add
    OR
Soak in warm water, squeeze & add.

Only peanuts give the taste. Just lighly fry dhania & peanuts ina dry kadai & powder with other things. May be you added very little.
    Love,
    Chithra.

It is available in Viveka Agencies & Venus agencies, bith ib Walltax Road. In both places, they will give a minimum of only 1/2 kg & we have to wait, as well! I have absolutely no objection to your DH coming home & collecting from my stock.
    Love,
    Chithra.
