    Hi sssaustin,
According to US panchangam the integration of star Moolam and Ammavasai happens on dec 26th.In south India we celebrate Hanuman Jayanthi in Decemeber. But in some parts of India they celebrate it on Chithirai(April) month. Our temple does both.
    Thanks
    Mangai

    Dear Kavi,
You seem like a devout devotee of Hanuman. Thank you setting me on my path to worship him appropriately. Bless you for that as I am sure many may have benefitted from your input. Thank you once again.
    Love
    Thanam

    :hiyaFriends,

It is better to recite the navaratna slogam on sundarakandam. The attachment has the slogas and the story beyond it. It has 9 stages. Like that hanuman pass over all the 9 stages for the person doing the pooja and finally give the victory against the evils and sufferings. I recited this everyday thro'out the pooja. Hope this help people you want to perform this pooja. All the best.

    Hi sssaustin,
    The story behind the dates
On Chithra Pournami day when Kesari and Anjani were chatting Vayu Bhagavan came and Anjani conceived Anjaneya. From Pournami of Chithra to Amavasya of Markaghi(december) Sri Anjaneya swami was born. This is the story I read from book.So In some parts of India they celebrate in April and others in december. In Tamil Nadu we do only once.I was mentioning the temples in US do 2 times a year.Hope it clarifies.
    Thanks
    Mangai

    Hi ladies,
I read a small piece of information that i want share with you, recently in a book i read that if we keep vratham on hanuman jayanthi day and pray to hanuman it is the best pooja to reunite couple who are seperated due to misunderstanding....and it is good to reunite relatives who are seperated...

We have the do the vratham from morning...have bath and with empty stomach we have to go to hanuman temple or if not possible pray at home and show arathi to hanuman photo and then we can have some puffed rice and fruits, and then in the evening we have to go to the temple and put vadaimalai for hanuman and come home and finish the vratham by having fruits...this is what i read in the book
