    Dear dear sir,
Truly and honestly speaking,in the final episode when some one (I think Laitha shiguru mam,not sure) mentioned about ALS if published as book,i thought and strongly believed that the book would definitely reach heights ,it would soon become popular among all age groups and most importantly,it would be preferred by many youngsters ,more specifically by IT professionals and those working for BPOs,(working people in short)not because of the subject (though it can be) but because of the emotions, suspenses carried in the episodes and the characterisations as well.I assure you that the book ranks top in the list of "interesting" and "Longing to read " books. Moreover as i have read it only episode by episode ,hence my first priority would be to buy and read all the episodes in one go.But i cannot say that i will be the first person to buy ,because there are many many Ilites who are active and moreover there are lots and lots of ardent fans who will be rushing to buy before me.So i can strongly say that before me buying many would have bought the book and almost completed reading and probably they would have gone to read the book again.:thumbsupI am so happy that i can very well predict with these signs the success of the book. :thumbsup
I am longing and waiting to hear the news (post my feedback in the thread on the book )from you saying about the book being published....:)gift for us)

My devout wishes for you.All the best...:cheers

    Dear Bhargavi,

Thanks for the really deep fb. I am happy that you read my reply to you thoroughly and have analysed it word by word. Now it's time for me to reply.

Yes, you are quite right about the impact of negative things. I heard Sridhar was quite upset when his movies like Azhage Unnai Aradhikkiren and a few others flopped. And that negative results wipe off all the sweetness of our earlier successes.

But life is not all about sweetness, Bhargavi. I am now 50. As I look back on the path I walked on, I find that my failures have made me what I am today. In 1997 one of my stories was published in Kumudam. Thereafter Kumudam rejected some 20 stories of mine. At that time my younger brother was in to writing. His story was published in Anandha Vikatan. He told me, "sridhar, why don't you try in Vikatan?". In no time I wrote a story and sent it across. It was promptly rejected. Another story and another rejection. Including other rejections from mags, I clocked some 55 rejections before my revolutonary story "Aasaiyil Oru Kaditham" was accepted for publication in march 98 and published in May 98.
Not only the acceptance erased all the earlier bitterness, it also gave me a valuable insight.
My brother whose very first story was accepted never wrote anything seriously after that. But I after 55 rejections went on to publish some 200 short stories, articles in English and Tamil and 9 books in Tamil
In that way the rejection brought out the writer hidden inside me.
Many of the hindi actors whose first movie was a hit never came out with anything memorable after that. I think it was Bhagyasree in maine pyar kiya. She does not have a second film worth its name.
Hrithik Roshan's first movie was a flop. But he was a great success.

As I am walking in to the evening of my life, I am fully convinced Bhargavi, that whatever I get, whether it is pain or pleasure, happiness or sorrow, acceptance or rejection, it is HER gift. We know the value of some gifts immediately - like a shirt or a jewel presented to us by our friend or lover. But it may take years before we know the value of the gift given by the Greatest Lover of all times, the Great God HIMSELF.

Will talk about ALS in another post.
    love,
    sridhar

    Dear, dear Bhargavi,

Your post could not have come at a better time, the time I am now testing the waters of publication. Your words came as a healing ointment to me. And it has given me confidence to go ahead with the project.

And now start praying for me, Bhargavi.

Only HER will has to do the things for me.
    love,
    sridhar

    Helo Mr. Sridhar,

Instead of doing paper for my class, I read above note about Director Sridhar. I loved all his movies and my favorite song is "Ore Naal unai naan nilaavil paarthathu". I have seen all his movies.

    Where is the town "Veralotti"?

I will try to start some new topics after my class over end of March.

Thanks for sharing your inner thoughts with us. Say hello to Mrs. sridhar. May be one of these days, I will visit Madurai not to go to Alagar Kovil, but taste coffee:coffee in your house.

    Bye now. :coffee:coffee:coffee

    Hello CL,
Oh, don't do that again. Finish your work and come back here to relax your mind. Class-papers can't wait while my writings will be waiting for you forever.
The town varalotti is near Virudhunagar. There is an interesting story behind that name. Check this thread for that
    http://www.indusladies.com/forums/v...rial-stories/5349-varalotti-on-varalotti.html

You are most welcome, CL. Mrs. Sridhar (Indhu) prepares coffee very well and you wont be disappointed. But I will also take you to Madurai's famous coffee houses. (btw, did you read my post on Coffee Houses in Madurai in the madurai forum?)
    love,
    sridhar
