Hi Ladies,

Good Info , was not aware that using Adimadhuram would increase Hair Growth. Would defn like to try.... ut hope it doesn't have any side effects.

BTW, Adimadhuram is available in Indian Stores in US, i have seen it in Patel cash & carry and Subzi Mandi in Edision.

i have heard from my malyalee friends tht in india they make hair oil at home......first they make coconut oil at home and then add roots,flowers like hibiscus...........could someone tell me exactly how to do it[which flowers and herbs ]........as i want to make the same oil as they have thick,long and black hair

hi,

u can prepare ur own hair oil by mixing the following in coconut oil .

hibiscus flowers
methi powder
amla powder
curry leaves powder

mix all these in coconut oil n boil .
don't over heat till it burn

afterwards cool it n filter it n store in a bottle n use daily .

i prefer either to grind all those items which 'illu' mentioned and boil them in coconut/sesame oil unil the moisture evaporates .. or u can put dry amla, curry leaves, hibiscus flower, meethi directly and boil it...... since i tried using amla powder once and then found it hard to filter powder from oil and i did not want any powder mixed with my oil while i apply it to my hair......

u can add tulsi leaves as well ..
