Use amla reetha and shikakai weekly. Shampoo your hair with a moderate shampoo and don't forget to use a conditioner that suits your hair texture.

Hi. There are a few alternatives. You can use Jalepeno formula. See this for more information: YouTube - Home Remedy for Thicker Hair

Usually, i find a lot of suggestions advising us to use castor oil. I suggest you dilute it half half with almond or coconut oil. Do regular scalp masages with this oil. here are a lot more recipes i found online from websites and forums, and compiled them.

These are not things suggested by me but from others.. so i'll quote it.
    "
    1. Mix olive oil, honey, and 1 tsp cinnamon powder and apply paste to scalp and
wash off after 15 minutes. Do this 3 times a week.

    2. Make a paste of 2 tsps henna powder, 1 tsp yogurt, 1 tsp fenugreek powder,
3 tsps instant coffee, 2 tsps basil juice, and 3 tsps mint juice and apply to
hair. Wash it out after 3 hours. (Since Indian women want to color hair while
they do treatments, I guess that's what the coffee is for. It can be omitted.)

    3. Massage aloe gel mixed with triphal powder into the scalp. Leave it for 1/2 an
hour and then rinse with warm water. Do this 3 times a week. I've done this
    one.

    4. Make a hair mask by mixing amla with an egg and leave n hair for 1/2 hour.
    I've done this one.

    5. Drink a smoothie of banana, yogurt, honey, and skim milk. (Sounds like a
yummy smoothie. I wouldn't mind doing this every day!)

    6. Make a shampoo by mixing 100 g each of amla (Indian goose berry),
reetha, and shikakai and boil in two liters of water until the liquid reduces
to half. Use this shampoo for your hair for at least one month. Your hair will
    become thick.

    7. Grind half a cup of black dal lentil (urad dal) with one tablespoon of
fenugreek seeds to a coarse powder. Mix well half a cup of yogurt into the
powder and message over the scalp. Leave for 2 hours then rinse.

    8. Mix equal amount of warm castor and almond oil and massage over scalp
    at least once a week.

    9. Make a hair pack by mixing amla (Indian goose berry) powder with one
egg. Apply it to your hair and leave for half an hour. Wash hair.

    10. Grind lime seeds and black pepper in equal number in some water and
    apply on the scalp regularly.

    11. Place raw mango pulp in some oil for a year. Massage this oil on the scalp
    frequently.

12.) Hibiscus flowers or the plant leaves can be grounded & the paste can be applied to hair to stimulate hair growth.

    13. boil coconut oil and add curry leaves until they turn black. strain and apply

    14. apply lemon juice to scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes. wash and apply black seed (aka black cumin aka kalonji] oil when hair is dry.
re the curry leaf - i find that this has the tendency to start a kitchen fire. some other recipes allow you to either blacken the leaves separately and add to the boiling/hot oil, or turn off the heat after boiling the oil and then add the leaves. i use the second method, or else i powder the leaves [dry it in the oven and then put it in the mortar and pestle] and then add that to boiling or boiling hot oil and let it boil or sit for some time before straining

15.) an overnight scalp treatment including hibiscus, fenugreek, cayenne, cinnamon, ginger and sage powders (~1 tsp. each) along with some aloe, seaweed water, honey and V05 tea therapy conditioner. May add some yogurt powder, too.

Mixed it up in a 4oz. wide mouth container -- enough for about 3-4 scalp applications (I keep it refrigerated and take out to warm up before applying). You can leave this on as long as you want (or also with a length treatment overnight like me)."

I highly suggest you try the recipes with castor oil and the jalepeno one first.

    Hope this helps.:)

Haha.. sorry to answer this in two parts. hmm.. for that.. i would recommend using Anherb hair pack and mix it up with a tablespoon of almond oil and water. Follow the rest of the instructions on the package.. however im not sure if you should use metal utensils while mixing this. Wash out with just water fully.

To make hair look thick you can just brush your hair upside down. I find this works. Or you could use store bought mouse. Also, you could use light oils like jojoba or almond oil to make your hair look shiny. Use in small amounts to avoid making your hair look flat.

Hey. im not sure where you can get it from as i have never been to UK. You can try some of the Indian stores there. If they dont have it. You can just buy amla, henna, shikakai, neem and bhrami all in powder form. Thats the main ingredients in Anherb hair pack.
