Being in the entertainment industry is not a joke.We see only the outside glamour but for sure there is so much of physical stress, competition, travel, casting couches and leechers, paparazzi,be physically fit all the time etc so much they have to deal.Worst is the trolling. They get trolled very very bad..

Yet they manage to smile and be strong.

How do they even find the willpower and mental strength to deal with all of this?

In real life it seems very hard to deal
With family and office politics which seems nothing to what celebrities deal..

So people who choose film industry are basically wired to be so mentally strong?(except for few)

The entertainment industry line of work is definitely not for the faint of heart. Maybe they find the mental strength to deal with it because most are in it by choice and not only to make a living.

Movie stars are like rea life people. Some of them are super strong, while others are very weak. There is a vast majority who are neither strong nor weak, but they can handle stressful situations fairly better. There are some who commit suicide and are a few who run away from the industry without being able to withstand the politics and problems there.
But others don't care it at all or better manage the situation to stay successful.

This industry is tough of its own way, but this is not the only profession which is tough in the globe. There are plenty, including the field of work I have chosen for example. But as long as you made an informed choice, and the work is also your passion, nothing stops a person from living his passion. To add further, such hard professions pays you so well, not just salary but also name, fame, social power and what not. Compared to all these, the struggles are not a huge deal.

But, this is not for the faint hearted for sure.

The ones you see still standing are those who made it. And a lot of the successful actors today are nepo babies, so it’s not exactly a level playing field.
The entertainment industry is brutal. For every success story there are dozens who fall by the wayside and quietly move on to other things if they are lucky, or to a worse fate if not.

Actors like deepika, kiara, siddarth stun me with their zen mode!

Deepika mentioned depression but would love to know where she finds all those courage and mental strength! How does she manage those perverted men and trolls etc..God knows! Very inspiring..

Fame and money is one thing but what drives them to be this strong?

Or is it insecurities and fear to not lose?

While they seem perfect, happy and smiling from outside, who knows what mental state are they actually in!! Be it their own professional or personal success or failure or handling the industry politics, the film industry is not for faint hearted or sensitive people. Another question is - is it healthy to portray somrthing else outwardly when you feel something totally different from inside? Some day or the other the pent up real feelings have to break through.

Even successful movie stars have to fight their demons. In some cases, they are able to successfully do so. However, in others, they bottle up emotions and feelings to such an extent that they take extreme steps without anyone else having an inkling prior until its too late.

I think their struggles become magnified because they cannot always keep them private. Any setback related to career or life in general is out there for all to read and comment. And the struggle for those not from star families is that much harder.

My favorite success story is that of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He started off in really bit roles such as a waiter in Shool in 1999. He recently told in an interview that he didn't get paid the Rs 2500 promised for the Shool role, and he got even in a funny way. The man deserves his success. He named his new Versova bungalow Nawab in memory of his father. It has a bathroom bigger than than the small house he shared with four other actors when new to Mumbai.
