I use Crocs. With socks in winter and without in summer. They are comfortable and washable. We wear slippers all over the house.

Yes, I have this exact vacuum. I bought it last September when it was $100 off at Costco. Before that I had a Dyson Complete Animal Pro regular vacuum for more than 8 years and it worked great. It developed a tear in the changeover hose and was out of warranty so I didn’t want to bother with the repair. My neighbor took it for his son. I haven’t felt the need for another corded vacuum yet.

No I haven't used any cordless vacuum before. So no idea about the battery durations.

I will check the animal pro version of Dyson. The dyson11 is expensive in Costco and doesn't have any deals currently. Just comparing prices in all websites.

I use the same Indian method for spraying water lol.

Do you wash this Crocs in the washer? Did it stink after use? I mean is your body sweaty type ? If so, does it stink?

Not in the washer, but I rinse them off in the laundry sink if they get dirty. They don’t smell.

    Oh ok. Thank you.
    You will air dry them?
So far I don't have good experience with air drying the slippers. I used to wash it in the sink and leave it to air dry.
After a day or two, it looks like half dried, stiff and smells a bit.
I don't know if it's depends on the type of slippery material we choose.

Yes, air-dry. Crocs are made of a synthetic material and are very durable. I almost always wear socks though, wool in winter and cotton in summer.

Looks like its the same model. The steam mop I mentioned looks similar to regular mop @Rihana mentioned. My house has engineered hardwood floors. So, the cleaning depends on the type of floor. As this is your first home, my suggestion is go with the simple tools you have right now. Once you are there, you realise whats best for your house and it reveal itself. The cordless handheld vaccum comes with chargers.
    Good luck.

I tried a few of what are called slippers in the US. They didn't work for me. I honestly think those are better suited for older less busy, who move around less inside the house. If one is doing a lot of work in the kitchen and often going from room to room, those are not practical.

I switched to what we used to call slippers in India. : ) The good old Bata Hawai chappal kind. I find the Sanuk brand good. In particular, the style called Yoga Serenity. https://www.amazon.com/Sanuk-Womens-Yoga-Serenity-Black/dp/B01IM9HVRU?th=1&psc=1 The few weeks that it is very cold in the winter, I wear only socks.

    Thank you.
Yeah I ordered that bucket mop one and didn't like it. I returned it and ordered a spray mop now.
As you said, we have to trial all the options and see which one fits us.

I didn't order the vacuum yet. The Dyson one looks very expensive for us right now. But debating with it's pros and cons.
    Thanks for your inputs.
