    @Rihana - I’m here to highlight @godsgp’s post Defeated.
Grief is used to define more than what the dictionary defines it as.

It’s ok to grieve a loss of some kind that is impactful. We are often asked to give ourselves permission to grieve.

    This is so true.
I liked the reaffirmation. There are no terms adequate sometimes and we pick what best suit our situation.

I’d like to nominate @godsgp for FP!

@Rihana - I would like to share @HariLakhera ‘s wonderful post on the impacts of rising inflation on the retirees here Money Can Buy Everything Except Happiness-wrong.
In his usual style laced with humor Hari sir has posed an important question. What happens to those who retire on a fixed income when inflation exceeds bank earnings and expenses like health care get added to the mix.

I’d love to nominate Hari ji for FP!

@Rihana - I would like to highlight this post by @MalStrom : Parents Visits

When parents come there is so much of excitement in the air but then after a while the generation gap shows up.
Malstrom has provided some pointers on managing expeditions when parents visit.

All of these are great points.
I wish OP gets some ideas from here to implement and keep everyone happy while parents visit.

I’d love to nominate @MalStrom for FP!

Dear Rihana, my next nomination is @SGBV for the response to Parents Visits posted by @aniya. She has completely analyzed the issue and has given some good suggestions based on her experience, which I feel would be very helpful not only to @aniya but also others who face similar issues with parents.
    Regards

    Rihana,
Bringing your attention to @nayidulhan and her post Am I Gullible Or Self Centered? where she shares some things that all parents would have gone through.

All of these are questions that I can relate to so much. It’s been a very long time since I dealt with my first such parental blow but I’ve spent quite a few sleepless nights wondering about the child and her gullibility in this big bad real world.
I think @nayidulhan has already done a fabulous job of keeping her child away from drama and continuing to engage with the other kid. She’s still trying to get some clarity on the situation and help her child. It shows a mom’s drive to help her child while not making the child prejudiced against the other kid.

I’d like to nominate her for FP. I’m sure you will respond to all these questions and more. Looking forward to responses from other posters as well!
